Our paper, “RepuScore: Collaborative Reputation Management Framework for Email Infrastructure” has been accepted at LISA 07 to be held in Dallas, TX.
It has been a while since I have kept up with the blog. The internship is going on well, there has been lot of learning. There is some great and amazing research being performed here. Whenever I find time, I go to meetings and learn about the research and the researchers. I have been learning so much during the past few weeks.
I have been having fun going around California, been to Yosemite National Park, Santa Cruz beach and the “city” San Fransisco. The drive on golden gate bridge would have been fun had there been less traffic.
Updates to come sooner.
There is some exciting news. I am joining Performance Analysis team at VMware for a summer internship from May to Aug. It would be a lot of learning. I am happy to checkout Palo Alto during the time.
As a user of email and a System Administrator, I believe that an authorization framework, that authorizes a sender before they can create content in a receiver’s mailbox is a necessity of today. An authorization framework over email infrastructure is a novel idea, that goes beyond authentication techniques. There is more research to be done in this field before it becomes usable.
In future, I intend to write about tips on System Administrator based on some experience.
I believe the greatest benefactor of this site would be me. But in the process, if it helps others, I will be a happy man.
